About the location
Stange & Co. are a well established family owned and operated pub restaurant business with a £10m+ turnover, based in Parkgate on the Wirral, 10 miles from Chester. We're an expanding family pub company, with pubs across the Wirral & Wales. We fully appreciate that our pubs are only as good as our teams in them and the support we give them. This support comes from our office based at The Ship in Parkgate.
Job Description
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of flowers, shrubs and trees, and keeping all green things, well……. green?! Some minor landscaping, planting schemes and generally evolving our gardens over the years is also a key part of the role. Must be able to work of your own accord but also alongside our pub managers to get the gardens looking as tip top all year round.

What we're looking for:
Our gardens are just as important to us as the buildings that sit in them. Many of them are well established and award winning, and just need gentle evolution. Our garden at the Brookhouse Mill in Denbigh is very much at the blank canvas stage, so you’ll be working alongside our senior team and builders in helping plant up a space for people to enjoy and to enhance the pub and its setting.
They are our shop windows, the first thing that welcomes customers to the pubs. They play a huge part in making that all important first impression for customers as they arrive at the pubs, but they are also areas that our customers choose to sit, to eat, drink and relax in the warmer months.
